Apart from recreating famous structures with its architecture series and recently debuting a 7,541-piece Millennium Falcon kit — LEGO continues to present its expertise in “legofying” just about everything, a modern life-size F1 car now in the spotlight.
Utilizing Ferrari’s 2017 F1 SF70H race car in particular, the object is essentially made up entirely of LEGO building blocks, and this one of one replica is part of the brand’s “Speed Champions” series.
In time-lapse video above, the company states that it took 750 hours to build and 844 hours to develop while using a total of 349,991 bricks and special elements that finally weighed in at around 1,250 lbs.
