AG continues to be the premium denim brand on point with this season’s campaign that aims to celebrate and highlight the brand’s unique DNA. Taking a more artistically inclined approach to the campaign’s direction utilizes elements of AG’s factory in South Gate, California combining a surreal and transient aesthetic, yet grounded in its industrial backdrop.
The elements of art, fashion, and manufacturing work together to showcase the collection under a more unique and broader lens. The contradiction between the raw, day to day realism as provided by the factory setting alongside the spirit and individuality of style and creativity tell the story of a brand that is more than denim.
This season sees a laid-back newness appears in straight and relaxed fits for men. The Pipe five-pocket is a vintage tailored straight crafted from 100% cotton denim and offered in two AG-ed washes: 7 Years Potrero, a deep indigo that’s worn away at the lap, and 15 Years Laguna, a medium wash with heavy fading and authentic wear details. New relaxed silhouettes include the Travail utility pant and the drawstring Sun Pant, both made from Zen cotton linen in a variety of neutral shades. The Ramsey S/S Crew makes the perfect complement in supersoft vintage jersey, designed in a fit that’s more relaxed in the shoulders and at the neckline. New shirting options offer fresh ways to layer—the Colton Shirt in washed plaid cotton with slightly marbled fading, the Pearson short-sleeve shirt and the Bristol long-sleeve shirt made from washed slub oxford in sunbaked hues, and the Benning Shirt in supersoft light wash denim. And to finish, the classic Dart Jacket in distressed denim and the cotton herringbone Marx Jacket with military detailing are two great choices for throwing on when the day grows cooler
