Season 5 of Peaky Blinders is set to start Sunday 25th August & episode 2 on Monday 26th August on BBC One and we couldn’t be more excited. Few shows over the past decade have had as great an impact on British men’s style as Peaky Blinders. A Twenties-inspired look typified by heavy fabrics, cropped trousers, sturdy boots and baker boy caps, Cillian Murphy’s portrayal of a nattily-dressed ganglord continues to grip style habits both on the high street and across high fashion.
Titled ‘Black Tuesday’, season five’s premiere will reunite the Shelby family with news of the Wall Street Crash, which will of course impact the family business moving forward. Also, Tommy’s political career will go from strength to strength thanks to his inspiring speech in the House of Commons – although skeletons in his closet may soon put his position at risk. However, the ghosts of his past soon threaten to undermine his position.
Peaky Blinders starts 9pm Sunday 25th August, BBC One
