Taking inspiration from Lappish traditions and history, the Arctic Treehouse Hotel brings together cozy accommodation and incredible views to Finland’s Arctic Circle. The 32 suites resemble local cone cows and are housed in individual timber boxes resting on a series of stilts. Elevated off the ground, the pods are reframed from disrupting the surrounding environment. Inside, each one features a Scandinavian-inspired interior with beds dressed in fur throws and a white-washed wood lining while a glazed wall looks out over the Arctic landscape. At night, guests can catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights from their beds as they drift off to sleep.
This is the perfect destination for anyone who loves the outdoors as well as modern design with traditional influences. Prices start from €300+
