Part travel trailer and part tiny home, the Base Cabin redefines the boundaries of micro-living. The 19-foot mobile dwelling, designed by Melbourne-based Studio Edwards, is a cross between a classic A-frame cabin and an Airstream trailer, giving the home structural efficiency and a clean, streamlined look. Its angled exterior is finished with black rubber to create a durable, weatherproof shell and muted appearance while the compact interior is lined in pale marine plywood. Maximising its footprint, the inside includes a double bed, kitchenette, bathrooms, and a small sitting area flooded with natural light through generous amounts of glazing. Placed on a triple-axle trailer, the cabin is free to roam and connect to a number of different landscapes. Find out more from Studio Edwards
