Jeep have just released a 470hp, (yeah you read that right….470hp) Wrangler. This classic 4×4 houses a 6.4ltr V8 capable of 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds while keeping all the classic features we know and love. As with any 4×4 in this day and age the next question is can it actually function well both on AND off road. Well, Jeep tells us that the peak torque (and needless to say there’s a lot of that available) kicks in just after engine idle speed making this a beast off road and a bit too much fun on it. If you read our review of the upcoming Ford Bronco you’ll know how much of a fan we were but we’re not going to lie, we think we may have just been swayed. The Wrangler Rubicon 392 boasts a whopping 200hp more and let’s be honest if you’re buying one of these its because you want some serious fun driving no matter what the adventure you’re on.
Currently Jeep are only releasing the Wrangler Rubicon 392 in the Middle East and North America but car imports exist for a reason, right? Find out more on Jeep’s website here.
