Soundcores Liberty Air Pro 2 earphones are most certainly underrated. When you think of earphones everyone will go straight the Apple Airpods, which we reviewed recently, and forget about everything else on the market that might be slightly more affordable to the average consumer but still pack the same punch as the ‘big boys’ of the industry. The Liberty Air Pro 2’s have been designed in collaboration with a number of Grammy award winning artists and producers, creating an offering that has a 45% boost to bass, and a 30% wider frequency bandwidth than ordinary drivers thanks to the brands PureNote Driver Technology. The drivers are coated with 10 hardened nano-layers offer incredible stiffness to generate stunning accuracy and clarity for the end user, mixed with the Soundcore app and HearID Personalized EQ, ensures a perfect listening experience. HearID in short is an intelligently analyses of your unique hearing profile, the app then takes this information and creates a tailor-made sound setup just for your ears, pretty cool hey? And if you don’t want something that personal simply take control of the sound with the adjustable EQ or 22 preset sound profiles. But how do the perform day to day you ask? Well, brilliantly. We tested the earphones across everyday commuting use, long runs and sunny strolls each time the Liberty Air Pro 2’s worked with us, forever comfortable in the ear and super reactive on the touch controls meant we never had to break a stride. Connection wise the earphones are easy to pair with your phone via bluetooth and very reliable, even at a decent distance. The only issue we did have with the earphones was the charging case. Whilst it looks cool and reminds us of a 1990’s sliding phone, we found it to be slightly larger than competitors and it doesn’t always fit neatly in your trouser pocket. Overall however these are an all encompassing earphone that balance style and substance, easily fulfilling the everyday needs of its user.
