Globe-Trotter, the luxury travel accessory brand, is launching a new limited-edition line of cases featuring original David Shrigley artworks presented on the outside of their iconic 4-wheel Carry-On cases. Renowned for his distinctive style combining handwritten humorous text with quick-witted imagery of animals, people, aliens, and everyday still lifes, David Shrigley has created two unique designs to be shown on the exterior of Globe-Trotter’s Carry-On cases. With the ivory vulcanised fibreboard providing a superb canvas, a set of vibrant cobalt blue corners studded with brass rivets give the appearance of a picture frame; meaning you can quite literally, carry your case as if it’s a piece of art. The selected designs are typical examples of the celebrated artist’s work; his ‘Untitled (Be an Ass)’ and ‘Untitled (baggage)’, both executed in bright azure paint, feature prominently on the exterior. Both cases are available in Globe-Trotter’s latest 4-wheel suitcase format in Carry-On size, making travelling a breeze. Each case will be part of a limited edition of 5 and available from 18th June, 2022 online at globe-trotter.com and in the Globe-Trotter flagship store in London.
