When a family of Australian ex-pats moved to Canada their prime focus was ensuring enough space for throwing parties and, we presume, the king of all BBQs. Naturally, the architects, Mcleod Bovell, knew exactly what was needed. Despite the challenges of building G’Day house into a slope, they made sure that guests arriving would flow naturally into the biggest, brightest entertaining spaces.
With equal priority being given to indoor and outdoor, the living and entertaining space is essentially doubled when the sliding doors on the Southeast side are opened up. Plus, there are no pesky columns to block the view.
